"I wish I'd kept that old (insert your make and model here)"
Our
cars -> Alfa through OSCA This
section shows the cars my father and I owned back in the fifties and sixties. By
today's standards it'd be quite a collection - then, they were just old cars.
Most were pretty mundane, an Austin Healey, an MG, and so on. Some would be very
desirable today - a Lotus factory race car, an OSCA owned by DeTomasso, and a
BMW 507. Sadly all but one are gone. Fortunately, I took a few pictures.

Maybe it's because I practically grew up in a Chevy parts department, but I love looking at car parts. Here, you'll find parts, pieces, and engines. Some of the engine pictures were taken at a museum in Coventry - it'll be obvious which ones.
It wasn't all sports cars back then. We didn't have video games, but we
had dragsters,
boats, planes, and Volkswagen dealerships for excitement.
Volkswagen dealerships?

A few
exotic
things I managed to get pictures of through the years. Desmodromics,
turbines, a Bug, a girl, and a dog, plus - a Chaparral with a snowmobile engine
from a contributor - plus, an exotic Alfa with
a past.
Many manufacturers
introduced new models or concepts at the
New York International Car Show in the
sixties. I attended in 1964 and 1965 - here are a few pictures.
