We are trying to piece together the history of a 1958 AC Ace that was purchased new at D&H Automotive in Concord NH by a fellow named Shelby Walker. It was probably raced at one time on the east coast. Please let us know if you can help. Thank you! |

Phillip Knudsen is looking for some history on his beautiful 1958 Alfa Veloce. He is in the process of refurbishing it and intends to retain as much of that great patina as possible. The roundels contain a faded number '88' and it is believed to have been raced on the east coast. The large reflectors on the back may help identify it in old photos. It's also likely that the sticker has been with the car for a long time. Can anyone help? There is more info on this Alfa site. Please let us know. Thank you! |

This shot, taken on September 5 1960, shows the start of a Formula Libre race at Thompson. The second and third cars are Stutz Plaisted's Cooper and Phil Cade's Maserati 250F. The leading car appears to be Gordon Pennington's Tec-Mec Maserati which may have been called by a different name at the time. Can anyone confirm that it is indeed this car , or identify it if it isn't? Please let us know. Thank you! |

The top and bottom photos here are of Deutsch Bonnet HBR5 chassis #1028 as purchased and as it is today. It is very possible that it is the car once raced by Howard Hanna, pictured in the center. If anyone has any information on the car please let us know. Thank you! |

This may be a long shot - we'd like to know who is standing in front of the 1962 Corvette and where the snapshot was taken. Dated May, 1962. If anyone has any information please let us know. Thank you! |

At left are 5 photos of a Frazer Nash once owned and raced by Frank Twaits and currently owned by James Trigwell. We would like to attach accurate places and dates to the photos. The car had its roll bar in 1958 and 1959, and was not raced after 1959. The top 2 pictures are obviously at Lime Rock. The 3rd photo is very likely Bridgehampton. The fourth may be Thompson, and the fifth may be Marlboro in 1955. Can anyone confirm the locations and/or provide dates or other info? If anyone has any information please let us know. Thank you! |

"In 1971 I was a young engineer in Chicago
when I met Wally Oliver. Wally told me about his race car and even produced
a feature article run in a local River Forest, Illinois newspaper. I believe
it was powered by a BMC A-Series engine with a cross flow head. If anyone has any information please let us know. |

We are looking for information on the Kieft Sports Car
and are particularly interested in knowing what happened to it.
The car was built in 1954 for Erwin Goldschmidt and had a 4.5 liter (some sources say 5.5 liter) DeSoto V-8 engine coupled to a Jaguar transmission. The car was used in at least one event ( a hillclimb) and supposedly was discovered in poor condition in the late sixties. Does anyone know where it is today?
Thanks to Frank Cornell for this link regarding the Kieft.
